A very nice place to stay. Very helpful staff, especially in dealing with a delay we had with the ash cloud. We had a computer & phone made available to us to make arrangements, including international calls. A hearty choice of breakfasts and a comfy sunroom to dine in (included with our stay). A quick walk to the 'Dart' train system, about 15 min. walk to the 'hop on, hop off' tourist bus route. Probably 40 min. walk to the Temple Bar district. The neighborhood seemed very safe. All in all, a clean, quiet place to base your operations while you are out for a day of sightseeing.
The staff was very accommodating. There was some confusion about the size of my party (we requested an additional bed for our daughter, and that did not get to them from Booked.net. In any case, they switched rooms around, and put us together at no additional charge.
The friendliness of the staff. They make you feel so welcome and very homely. It's an ideal location for the Aviva & rds Stadiums as it is in walking distance. It is also 15min walk to Grafton Street. Definately would stay here again.
Had a great stay even though it was only one night ,location was excelled near every thing and yet out of the way of busy traffic. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was to die for.Cant wait to stay there again.
Very nice hotel, fab location in D4, would stay at Hotel again.
Ciernan gave a fantastic first impression with his friendly greeting and service helping with luggage, coffee sevice and tips on navigating the city.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location for rds, walked there in just over 5 mins. Cooked breakfast was lovely, parking free at accommodation, no additional charges like other hotels in Dublin. Would really recommend this townhouse to anyone.
Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and excellent service. Constant top-ups of coffee and toast. Hotel very close to rds which was great for us and it isn't too far from the centre either.
Parking not great, you have to leave car keys with hotel staff in case thet need to move it although I have to say we didn't have a problem. There is on street parking as well. The bathmat provided was covered in damp which wasn't pleasant. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room which we would have preferred however staff were on call to bring it whenever requested.
The major reason for choosing this hotel was the location to the Aviva Stadium which is an easy walk to any venue being staged at the Stadium.
There was no negatives to make about this establishment.
This is the second time at butlers town house we love it the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is a problem and the breakfast is one of the best in ireland!!
The hotel had a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The location is great - easy to find and ideally positioned for the Aviva stadium virtually on the doorstep. Inside the hotel is very pleasantly decorated and the feel is one of a period residence. Public areas are also very comfortable and the lounge is a really relaxing place to sit and read a paper or just chat. The place has a 'family run' feel. This was typified when one of our party arrived quite early, having had an early flight. He couldn't check in as his room wasn't yet available but he was offered a full breakfast and invited to hang around until the rest of us got there. On checking out the following day he reminded the proprietor that he'd had an extra breakfast - he was told that they would not be charging him for it. A lovely, generous touch that will have us booking again when next we visit this city of friendly, helpful folk.
Nothing comes to mind - we enjoyed our stay!
Great staff, very friendly. Great breakfast, loved the fresh fish and the oatmeal. Great to have tea or coffee served at any time of the day or night gratis. Certainly will stay at Butler,s Townhouse again.
We recently stayed at the Butlers Townhouse, from the moment we arrived we were stunned at the charm and beauty of this B&B. Cecilia welcomed us with tea and coffee made us feel at home and quickly had our room ready as we arrived very early in the morning. All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The morning breakfast was top notch and yummy. No matter how busy the morning crowd was, Nelson, Oana, or Anila the wait staff were friendly and made sure you were taken care of. The breakfast was wonderful and they had plenty of choices. Stephen and Roly greeted us each evening with tea and asked about our day. Butlers was the perfect location to the Dart station and the gateway to the city. Thanks
Friendliness&helpfulness of staff
This is a wonderful townhouse to stay in for a couple or nights in Dublin. We stayed as we were at a concert nearby and it was ideal. The staff are welcoming from the time you arrive. We were offered complimentary tea/coffee in the drawing room on check in which is a lovely touch. It is in quiet location and you can be relieved that you will not be disturbed by noisy stag/hen parties as in many city hotels! The breakfast is freshly cooked with fresh baking also and the best we have had of many places.I We would highly recommend Butler's.Book it!
